ECF Finds Treasure - Passport to Wellness

Elite Community Foundation (ECF) brought our mission to life in Queens—sharing real health information, programs, and resources that matter.  We loved connecting up close with the community, answering questions, and making wellness feel personal and accessible. PS 223 in Queens became a vibrant wellness hub on June 14, 2025.  ECF volunteers arrived eager to connect with attendees, share essential health information, and contribute to the Passport to Wellness. From the first welcome wave to the final fist-bump, attendees thrived on the Passport to Wellness’ contagious energy.  It was a dynamic and unapologetically fun-filled event.

ECF volunteers sparked meaningful conversations that flowed naturally and left lasting impressions with the attendees.  Introductions uncovered shared goals that reach far beyond the event.  Every handshake—or quick wave—connected people with resources across organizations, age groups, and interests.  Every booth encouraged hands-on exploration, every scent invited curiosity, and the entire venue hums with possibilities.

As the rain persisted outside, inside PS 223 had the vibe of pure sunshine.  Parents, guardians, students, and local residents explored each wellness station; they turned a wet afternoon into an exhilarating experience.  Several vendors hosted interactive demonstrations.  ECF volunteers were fully immersed in the experience as they moved among tables to answer questions and connected with guests.  Our team manned an information table which outlined upcoming programs, services, and resources.  We were thrilled to have attendees signed up to learn more about ECF or volunteer.  As the event wrapped up, it felt like the entire community came together to strengthen collective wellness.  Everyone left feeling energized and ready to support healthy living.  ECF had the pleasure of participating in this notable Queens’ event.
