Dr. Vincent Martin Outreach Program

Dr. Vincent Martin Outreach Program was created in memory of Dr. Vincent “Doc” Martin.  Starting with his medical practice, Dr. Martin dedicated his life to public service.

The Dr. Vincent Martin Outreach Program was created in memory of Dr. Vincent “Doc” Martin.  Starting with his medical practice, Dr. Martin dedicated his life to public service and was an active member of  Kiwanis International.  Dr. Martin focused his efforts on assisting vulnerable populations especially children, older adults, and individuals living in poverty and with adverse health outcomes.  Dr. Vincent Martin Outreach program is the umbrella program for all Elite Community Foundation’s international efforts, activities, partnerships, and collaborations.  Dr. Vincent Martin Outreach Program supports our mission to reduce poverty, illness, and illiteracy which is embodied in our slogan “No Individual, Family, or Community should be left behind!”.

ECF volunteers organized the Helping Hands Feeding Project with The Community Service and Health Ministries Department of Miles End Seventh Day Adventist in Saint Ann, Jamaica.  The collaborators and ECF volunteers prepared food and provided a hot meal, mask, and bottled water for residents. The meals were funded by members of the group.  Helping Hands Feeding Project is supervised by ECF volunteers – Mrs. D. Campbell-Bryan and Mrs. M. Grant.  At previous events, ECF volunteers went into local communities to donate items; arranged shelter needs and physical care needs; and assisted residents with blood pressure checks, and blood sugar readings.   ECF is proud of our local and international volunteers!
